I know J.J. Virgin is ok with xylitol... what about Stevia? Does anyone know if Stevia is considered and artificial sweetener or not?

If you are still looking, she recomennds it in combination with Xylitol. She allows both, but says "I worry that if you use straight stevia, it might cause calorie disregulation. So I like to mix the two of them." If you have her book, it's on page 142 in the box that says YOUR SWEETEST OPTIONS.0

I've been using Stevia for years in my tea. It is not artificial. It comes from the leaves of a South America shrub.0
