Hi All,
So I'm fairly new to paleo (working on week 2 now!) and am finding that I am meeting my protein requirements, overall I'm either right under or barely over for my carbs/sugar but am struggling to get enough fat in (I do cook my meats/veg/eggs with either butter or coconut oil but that's just not enough)
What are some of your favourite paleo snacks with a high fat content?
Thanks everyone; have a great day!

I'm partial to avocados & hard boiled eggs. But mark just posted this awesome treat, which definitely would meet the fatty snack category!

Homemade chicken liver pate
250g chicken livers
80g grass fed butter or beef dripping
2-4 tablespoons stock
Saute chicken livers in butter or dripping until cooked through. Tip whole panful into food processor and add tbsp stock. Blitz throughly. Add more stock (or cream if you prefer) if needed. Push mixture through a sieve to remove bits. Store in bowl/container in fridge. Take out of fridge to soften before eating.
Nice variation is to line 3-4 mini loaf tins with streaky bacon, fill with pate, fold bacon over the top, cover with foil and cook in a bain marie in the oven at around 140c for an hour or so.0 -
Same as pretty much everyone mentioned: boiled eggs, cheese (if you do dairy), bacon, avocados, nuts, nut butters, COCONUT BUTTER! 85% dark chocolate (darker=less carbs, more fat). coconut cream in my coffee.0

Smoked mackerel, sometimes I just open the packet, grab a fork and dig in, same for avocados, I also put coconut oil in my coffee,0
