Hey all,
I'm excited to be in this group! I've been eating Primal for just about a week now and I love it so much! I have Celiac disease, so I was already gluten-free, but dropping grains altogether is definitely an adjustment.
I did a little experiment the other day to see if I am REALLY feeling as good as I think I am... I had some gluten-free pizza and I couldn't believe the cravings it unleashed! I wanted to buy a whole box of Chips Ahoy... and I haven't eaten those since I was diagnosed over 10 years ago. I am so thankful to have found a way of eating that makes me feel great and curbs those cravings! Looking forward to learning from you all

Welcome! That's great about your cravings.
I wish it were like that for me. I crave almost any food all the time... I've been really wanting some almond butter (all of it, actually... I have a problem), all day. Or pork rinds.
*GASP* HOLY SH... I'm totally going to eat some pork rinds WITH almond butter, someday. I am a genius! Next Tuesday. After I get back home from the Spartan race. Haha!0 -
Welcome!
Eating Primally has definitely changed the way I function and feel during a normal day. I tend to feel "gross" or just off after having a cheat. Sure, it doesn't stop me from having them time to time, but I can definitely notice a difference. I, too, greatly enjoy this lifestyle and am very grateful I found it.
Feel free to add me as a friend!0 -
I totally hear you on the cravings!! I had one meal out with some friends and it took me about two weeks to get back to a point where I'm not craving every carb-rich food I could think of!!
Welcome!!!!
