Hello!

Welcome to the first week of reporting for this challenge! On Tuesday I will make a chart of the results this week, highlighting the person with the most points (weekly winner - woo!). In subsequent weeks I will highlight not only the weekly winner but also the cullulatuve winner. I will post the charts in this forum. Remember to post on Monday so that I have your data to compete for the coveted weekly winner award. ;)

Remember no one gets dropped, so anyone new should feel free to join in and begin recording for next week's check-in.

    I was truly trying.. and think I did well. I have added it up next to the days and if I have done it correctly it is 255.3 points. Feel free to let me know if this is the way it is supposed to be added up.

    So I can remember I have it written it down in a book.

    I offer a caveat though: Our current scale is difficult to read and will be replaced this week. This may cause some fluctuations in my weight numbers next week that have nothing to do with true weight loss or gain.

    Self care ( you don't need to include this, but I wanted to share it with those of you looking for ideas!):

    mon: met up with friends I have not seen in over a year.
    tues: Scheduled doctors apt for my knee that has been hurting on and off for awhile
    wed: practiced tai chi
    Thurs: did NOT work out or go on a walk even though it was gorgeous outside (following the doctors orders like a good patient)
    fri: cooked for a friend and spent the evening in delightful fellowship with said friend
    sat. accepted invitation to go to pool and then pride festival
    Sun: repotted plants and reorganized closet

    I was out of town in Texas on a trip. I did more walking then I ever have:) We did something fun everyday:) NSV walking for hours without any trouble:) Last summer at this time I wouldn't have enjoyed myself as much. I surely wouldn't have walked that much! (without the walking I wouldn't have seen much!)

    I weigh in Kilos and lost 900 grams so went to converter calculator site and converted...

    Okay Self care:
    Mon: Seen Doctor - Retail therapy
    Tues: out to lunch with friend
    Wed: seen physio
    Thurs: Read a book in the sunshine
    Fri: Bought some Christmas presents and sat in the park watching ducks
    Sat: Cooked and family visited
    Sun: family left, and after tidying up - went to motel in town where I am to have small procedure tomorrow so I don't have to get up early and drive in the fog and frost 1.45 minutes pre appointment.

    Okay - here goes.

    8 cups of water - 5 days
    2 servings of fruit - 6 days
    3 servings of vegetables - 5 days for sure
    Avoid sugary snacks - 2 days (been doing a lot of baking with fresh picked strawberries. It's not like I've been eating Snickers or anything!)
    Log all food - 4 days
    Exercise 30 minutes - 2days
    Exercise 45 minutes - 3 days
    Lost - 0.6 lbs (149.6 to 149.0)
    Additional self-pampering - 6 days

    Thanks to those of you who posted points this week - I know you are trying to be uber helpful! But in the future please only POST ONLY DAYS, NOT POINTS. The Luv created a handy dandy excel file to do the math for me, and if you post points I have to divide to enter the information for the formulas to take place. And you don't want me to do any more math than I need to. Seriously. My head might start smoking. :blushing:

    I really tried hard as I knew this week I would be behind in every way with everything happening in the next two weeks. Feeling so cold and tired today but have guests arriving - a girlfriend and her 2 very active daughters. lol

    Thank you for this challenge to help me think of my health and wellbeing on a daily basis. Congratulations to everyone who participated.. Awesome totals every one.
