Bulking Recipes

Looking for recipes for bulking but something light on the stomach. I have GI issues that have caused me to lose a lot of weight and I have to put it back on, however, I cannot eat much at a time and lots of foods affect my stomach in a way that makes it uncomfortable.
I'm looking for high protein, lower carb (if possible as too many carbs affects me also) but that are lighter and not heavy.

What foods cause you issues? Is it just higher carbs or more specific foods?0

I'm gluten free, so wheat, sulfites, colorings, all bother my stomach as well as some foods higher on the FODMAP list. Also any large quantity of food does as my body cannot process it. I can eat a part of an apple and not have issues but not the whole thing. As long as my total carb count is low or lower in relation to my protein I seem to do okay.0

It seems to me that you would be best looking to eat high protein/low carb sources such as meat and fish, cooked in oils/butters, with veggies not impacted by the treatment with sulphites (not sure if this would be organic and/or where you do not eat the skin, for example, with potatoes as I do not know enough about it to comment with any certainty).
While not great sources of protein, as they are more predominantly fat, you should also look to things like nuts, avocados and seeds (and nut and seed butters).
Here is a list of protein sources. The ones that are highest in protein per calorie will naturally be lower in carbs:

Thank you for this! In the thread it references a sample menu topic to hit macros, would you happen to have the link?0

HI!
This will probably not be very helpful as it was made to show an example of how you can apply IIFYM/flexible dieting - i.e. eat nutrient dense foods and still have a treat.
