I have crossed over into two-derland, and have been here long enough to feel I am able to maintain it. Next stop - twofitty-viille.

I am there! But when I started MFP I was at 300. I had lost about 50 lbs before that after I had surgery last year (not intentionally, just as an aftereffect of the surgery!)

I just recently arrived. I'm at 294 atm. I think I'll feel more secure at 290 though. I can retain 5 lbs of water for no real reason.

Egad! I started this Tuesday and put down that I thought I was about 450# in the initial profile. Figured it might have been a bit higher, but that it would at least be close.

Got to the doctor's office today so I could use their scale. OMG!!! 462.2# -faints-

That's how I felt at my highest...it just sort of sneaks up on you. That was also the day I decided that no matter what, I was going to get a scale and weigh routinely. Like the number or not, at least I know what it is now.

Yeah. I found a scale on Amazon that goes high enough to weigh me with the same sort of precision the one at my doctor's has, but for only $50. As soon as I can afford it, I'm thinking of getting it. I also was looking at the FitBit Flex and it seems interesting in tracking my activity and sleep accurately. I just don't know if I'd use it enough to be worth $100.

There are a couple of threads going about the fitbit and everything I have read has been extremely positive. - go to the board
General Diet and Weight Loss Help, and look for the topic Fitbit users... general question. It should be on the front page still. I ordered one the other day from Amazon and am looking forward to using it. There are other threads too that I have read, and the reviews on Amazon were very positive too.

I have a fitbit one - and love it. The flex would be even easier, just put it on and don't take it off except to charge it

Got down to 338, then bulked up to 360 over the past 6 months with my heavy lifting and eating.

After this weekend's competition, back to a cutting diet I go - aiming for that even 300!

I started at 322, I'm down to about 305. I've adjusted my food recently as the nutritionist/personal trainer at the gym's encouraged it. Hoping that once my body gets use to it, I'll see 299 or less soon!

    Heya,

When I joined this group just over one year ago, I was 325lbs. Now I am 252lbs. I still feel like I fit in better here though, since you all know what it is like to have such a large amount of weight to lose.

I've got a long way to go. But every step towards the goal counts.

I am very far away at 345 pounds. Getting to just 299 is a huge, huge, HUGE goal of mine. I've been over 300 since I was 13...I'd be deliriously happy to see a 2 as the first number on that scale!
