ha ha ha ha that sounds like a lonely hearts advert...
HI everyone im looking to make friends to help me to keep focused on my target of loosing as much weight as i can in the next three months. i have gained 46 lbs in the last year (since having my son) and i need to get back to target - i was 196lbs before having him, which is still heavy to some but it was perfect to me, curvey and strong with good muscle tone and i was physically fit.... so thats my journey planned out... just need some friends and people who understand the struggles to help me along my way!!! Who's up for it
By The Way i think i just started with Atkins Flu today... i started the diet Thursday and on day 5 now i feel really sore, throat, arms and legs .... RUBBISH

I'm with ya, we all need support! I have an October goal to lose as much as I can and planning on going back to induction levels, which seems to be the only sure-fire way. Sorry to hear about the yucky flu, but I actually look forward to feeling like crap because I know the sugary crap is leaving my body. We can do this!0

If I may help, I'd be happy to do so. I started Atkins on the first of June of this year. I am following the updated book (though I extended Induction to five weeks) and... it simply works.
If you can get through the flu, in a week or so you'll be feeling superhuman. Lots of energy, and like you can take on the world. Don't bother with exercise until you feel better, and remember to only count the carbs. Eat until satisfied, but not until stuffed. Calories will work themselves out once you're in ketosis!
Best of luck, you can do this!0 -
Hi! I'm starting tomorrow. I already eat a fairly low carb diet since I am gluten intolerant. I do have a weakness for fruit and wine
Please feel free to add me as a friend and reach out for support!
I am a little nervous for the "flu" period but am excited to find out what it feels like to have lots of energy. I have a very demanding job so it would be a nice change!0
