ran about 40min by the coast, also walked about20min- a couple minutes walking warmup, in roughterrain/traffic, and cooldown, and home from the beach where i got in up to my waist to cool off.

will perfect a rout tomorrow to stay away from traffic and low branches and where waves break over the road, and sun in eyes, and to end at the beach. ahhh, nice problems.

    have a good one.

    (still from my stupidphone)

Today I tried out the JeFit Ab Kettlebell routine & did their Muffin Top one. Yesterday, I did strength training for both upper & lower body. My body couldn't handle the HIIT I had planned so I did 20 minutes of my 'Walk' DVD 1st, then did the 2 JeFit routines.

This morning I used CLX Push Circuit 3's warmup and cooldown routine with this the TUFF Lower Body 1 WO. By time I hit the 3rd set of most exercises it was tough/cardio effect. I felt like I could go up in weights for the Standing Calf Raise and the Side Bends but not my hands holding it..lol. Wonder if a wrist strap would help with this? Need to inquire and get one asap. Finished this WO in approximately 65 mins.
    DB sets in use: 7.5, 15, 16.25, 20, 22.5, 23.75, 25, 27.5, 28.75.

I seem to waste minutes fooling around with the JeFit app with logging. I use a worksheet for the same purpose. Next WO, I am just going to log on my worksheet then go directly to JeFit website and update when convenient. I really like my WO sessions to come under 60 minutes but this is not the case right now. Ideally, 45 minutes max is my preferred WO length.

No unusual headache today. I did drink a recovery drink pre-WO and water mid-WO today. I added a teaspoon of whey protein powder to my oatmeal.

    Enjoy the beach runs, Sherry!!

Hi Marla...enjoy your two off days. Sounds like a lovely time with the swimming right before dinner, too.

My legs were sore from the10 mile run yesterday but I brought my co-workers dog Ziggy for a run after work. Was able to get 3.36 miles in good considering it was hot and muggy outside!

I was feeling tired today so I chose a shorter WO. I did it a bit later in the day & was done in 22 minutes. HRM wouldn't start so I will have to reset it. I used the calorie amount from when I last did the WO in June. WO perked me up. smile (I guess Body Beast Lucky 7 full body WO with lots of combo moves was just the ticket for today.)

I checked the JeFit web site today & saw that the TUFF strength training routine I put together has been downloaded 48 times & has a 3.25 star rating. You can do a search on 'TUFF' under Routines for it & download it. When I shared the routine it became available to all JeFit members.

    Have a great day, everyone!
