Calorie goal

I used to count calories. Now I'm doing low carb. What do we do with a calorie goal? Thanks.

    I still track calories, but I try to keep my carbs under about 80 grams a day. I follow the paleo diet so my carbs come from veggies and fruit. It doesn't take much fruit to put me over my goal. :)

    For right now Im just going to concentrate more on my carbs. The first 2 weeks I can only have 20/day. I want to get them from veggies as much as possible

    I still do calories too. I have mine set at 1450 a day, but that really depends on how many pounds you need to lose. That can very from person to person. Most of my carbs come from vegetables, nuts, and fruit. Not much fruit though...mainly strawberries. I do use low carb tortillas and low carb baking mix from time to time for something different, but it is best not to do that at first. you want to concentrate on losing your cravings for sweets and "snacky" carbs.

    I set my calories at 1400 and my carbs at 25 percent. I'll try that for may e two weeks and see. If I need to make adjustments. Thanks everyone.

    I think that's the key Jan is just trying different things and finding what works for you. Everyone's body is different!

    My calories are set to 1800 and 25% carbs is 113 grams of carbs a day!! But I dont think I will be doing that many!!

    I had eggs and one pack of oatmeal this morning before I went to go and swim for an hour!! If I dont have some carbs before I workout I get a sick n shaky feeling so NOT good!!
