Got a late start today and kept having to stop to walk due to stray dogs (they chas anything moving faster than 4mph) and also traffic. Got only 15min and was just about to finish another 15 by the sea when I saw my favorite veggies @ the veg stand, and ended up carrying a few kilos of veggies back home instead. lol We'll be having "almyra"(savory greens), fried zuchini & zucchini flowers (!), and greek salad today!! TOTALLY WORTH IT! ;-)

    have a great one y'all!

Good day Thursday everyone! It's my sweetie's birthday and I will have a slice of his coconut buttercreme cake sometime today...lol.

Yay! I was able to knock about 20 minutes off this Tuff Upper Body 2 WO this morning to 40 minutes! I didn't use the JeFit app to log but used paper logging first. I will go to JeFit website and input the stats. This WO hit triceps, back, shoulders, and biceps. Weights in use: 8.75, 12.5, 13.75, 15. I did push-ups (modified) instead of the Lat on Exercise Ball, too. I always feel so great after getting WOs completed...don't you?

Sherry - do you run or walk with mace or a stick just for times when stray dogs may come out? Your Greek salad is to die for...yummm!!

Btw, am I the only one that HATES greek yogurt??? I just don't get the big rave over this product. I have tried different brands and none of them are that appealing. Guess I will need to figure out how to disguise the couple of containers that I have left in the fridge...yucky...lol.

Was stiff this morning. Did walk & squats/ lunges in front of TV while I watched a recorded program.

Pamela enjoy that birthday cake. Think about using cottage cheese instead Greek yogurt if you like that better.

Sherry good for you combining two tasks together.

    Have a great day everyone!

Sherry - I've had the same problem with dogs, but while walking to try to go into labor. Your veggies sound like they will be YUM! You can make it to the seaside jog next time.

Pam - Always impressing me with your dedication. I'm seven months into this and I still have spurts where I'm with it or I'm not. I just bought some plain Fage Greek yogurt to try out. I like the other Greek yogurts I've tried, but they all had fruit in them. Not sure how I'll do with plain.

Donna - Good job with the workout in front of the TV. I need to do that more.

I got back in the garage and did my StrongLifts 5x5 today. I deloaded some weight, but it felt good to get back at it.

u guys, I'm addicted to greek yogurt! its an acquired taste, at first i didnt like it either. be sure to always pour off the water that forms, then make ur own recipe. either use a little of ur favorite fruit preserves to make it like the fruit flavored ones, or do it greek style w/honey and walnuts. u can cut up kiwi, mandarin orange, seedless grapes and nuts ont top and drizzle w/honey. also, cinnamon to help w/the insulin response to the sugars of preserves. honey is prebiotic & yog is probiotic, so they work together. i crumble cookies @ the bottom of the bowl& add milk to absorb it, and the yog, cinn, & honey and mix it up. milk helps w/the sourness. luuuv grk yog!
