I was able to get in today there is a heart beat and the baby is actually bigger than predicted. The baby was kicking and moving all over the place at one point the little one stretched. Most happiest day of my life!

ldrosophila: Yay! I've been reading some of your different posts, and I'm so glad to hear your little one is healthy (and sticky!) :)

Hello ladies! I'm a first time momma due on Jan. 28th. I don't think I'm showing yet so much as looking chubbier than usual. At 5'1.5 it doesn't take much to look chubby! We've had our first ultrasound already (i had an ectopic in the past so the doc wanted to make sure everything as where it should be) and we got to hear the little one's heartbeat--so exciting! Otherwise, I haven't been too sick but DO want to eat everything in sight. Let's hope this evens out a little soon...

Manda, I have a huge bloat bump. I am on progesterone with this pregnancy, and the bloating is ridiculous. I am hoping it goes down some when I stop taking it because I seriously look five months pregnant.

I am sure mine is bloat too...it's a bit ridiculous, isn't it! I am not on prog supplements or anything of the sort. Just prenatals. My friend's bump fizzled when she stopped her prog, so there is hope for you there. I don't think mine is going down anytime soon. I at least know it isn't true weight gain as I have only gained about 2lbs. I will say, though, people are much nicer when you're sporting a bump...and the clothes are cuter...so no complaints here!

Anyone have a bump yet? I am huge for 9w! I have been in maternity clothes since 5 or 6w. Is that crazy or what?!

I have a small one! Check out my pic..

I just joined the group. I'm 13 weeks and 2 Days. This is my fourth pregnancy. I'm 24, will be 25 when baby comes.

What are you all doing for workouts? I'm finally feeling better (this was the longest time I've not felt good, but it wasn't as bad as most)

Manda- I'm 11w2d in and I don't see a baby bump, but I can feel my clothing starting to fit differently. Like a little tighter right around the belly button and under, but looser in the seat (I could really go for not losing more of my pathetic butt). However, my boobs are HUGE. Like unnessesarily gigantic. I used to be really big busted before I lost 40 pounds and I'm still in a 36DDD, but these puppies are like leaking out! I look like a porn star even wearing a t-shirt *deep breathe* Alright, rant over.

And Mrs. Norris, I'm not sure about these ladies but I am too darn tired to be doing any exercises right now. I'm working about 60 hours a week and though I used to work out before work, there is no way I'm waddling to the gym anymore!

Another scan today at 10 weeks (I'm allowed as many as I want which is brilliant for my rather nervous state) and the jellybean is still sticky! Roll on the second trimester.

Lucky! I got one at 8 weeks, but I don't think I get another until 16-20. Yay for sticky!

Odiliawine--I can't believe you still work 60 hours a week! I work a lot too but it's from home and relatively comfy so I can't imagine having to be out in the real world with morning sickness and all the glory of early pregnancy to deal with. I am slowly going to the gym but there's an emphasis on slowly. For the most part I find the morning sickness is easing off and thankfully so is the night time bathroom breaks.

How is everyone else feeling? I feel a bit more like my 'old normal' but as a first time momma-to-be I have nothing to compare to.

Hi everyone! I am 30 years old and on my second pregnancy. I have a set of twin girls who are 4 years old. My EDD is Jan 26 but we will plan a c section date at my next appt. I was sick up until about 8 weeks and the fatigue is just now letting up some. I lost 55lbs prior to getting pregnant and I'm afraid I will gain it all back. I have gained 10lbs already due to craving salty things. I'm ready to start back exercising so I can lose fat but gain baby. Is that even possible while pregnant? It's great to find a group of women going through the same thing so we can be motivation for each other.

Hi ladies! I'm just checking in. I'm 15 weeks today and we just found out yesterday that we are having a little girl! I'm so excited! We did that new Panorama test which gives almost all of the same info as an amnio only all they had to do was a simple blood draw from me and cheek swab from dad. Science is so cool!

Ah congrats on your little girl! What's a panorama test? I had the first draw on that AFPN test, but not heard of that Panorama?

It's a brand new test that they are offering. I guess there are 5 brand names for the same test but the one my hospital is using is the Panorama. They draw your blood and are able to find the baby's DNA in it. From that DNA, they can determine all the major issues that an amnio would find (minus spina bifida) and also the gender. I was offered this test as alternative to an amnio as I am old...LOL! (38). I would imagine that if you didn't see a genetic counselor through referral that you might not be offered the test. It is really a cool thing and I can see that maybe in the future most people will skip the amnio all together (if they are having a singleton anyway....doesn't work for twins apparently).

Hi ladies! Hope everyone is doing great!

I got to hear Little Roo's HB again today. It's the best sound in the world! It was just a doppler check, but doc found the HB almost right away! Very reassuring as I will be hitting the 12w mark next Monday:happy: Our next appt is on August 8th...the day before our 5 year wedding anniversary.

Yay, that's great! We hit 12 weeks on Thursday - I reckon these have been the longest three months of my life.

I found out mid-June that I was having a baby and I thought it would have a February birthday. But I just had an ultrasound today and measured at 15w4d, putting my EDD at 12/29! Since my last baby was 10 days past the EDD, I'm betting on a January birth. (And I'm also not quite ready to accept that I might have another baby by the end of this year!)

Haven't posted on here for ages as I've been feeling rubbish, sickness and exhaustion are beginning to fade now though! I'm 13 weeks tomorrow, have my dating scan on Monday (will be my 4th scan, hence already knowing the dates!) Unfortunately my husband will be away on a course so I'll be on my own. We've just been reposted (he's army) so I don't really know anyone where we are, all our families are over 100 miles away so I'm quite nervous!

Congratulations to all of those who've just joined :)

Are there any mothers out there that had c-sections and then had successful vbacs in subsequent births? I'm really hoping to have a vbac with this second child, but some people I've spoken with said not to get my hopes up because they don't happen all too often. I hope this isn't the case! Anyone....?

it sure is the longest 3 months. OMG I just knew something bad was going to happen, but so far uneventful. I finally told the first family member. My Dad. Part of me was so afraid to tell because it felt like I'd be tempting fate, and lose the baby. So far it's just going along not really seeing any changes in my body besides the occasional side pain. I've got to get back to portion control because I'm starting to put on the weight.
