Day 2 Kickstart - unbelievably sore

Hi there - just started BR Kickstart yesterday. Loving the food, not loving the twice a day exercise routines. I am so unfit and today I am unbelievably sore. I just about managed the Workout 2 this morning and could not face the Cardio 1 workout this evening - too sore and also very tired (did not sleep much last night because of hot weather). I also went out today and could barely move - getting out of my seat on the tube was a nightmare - so much so that on my way back home this evening, I stood all the way!!

How has everyone else who has done the Kickstart coped? Does it really get easier? Almost cried during the workout this morning - could not see myself getting any fitter. Had a real downer - which I know is not helpful - just beating myself up that I have gotten so out of shape.

    Hi, and hang in there. I was sore during Week 1 last week, too. I think you were smart to listen to your body and skip the extra cardio if you are feeling run down...you don't want to burn yourself out already. Some nights I just walked my dog for my second workout. We are shocking our bodies, so they will be a little sore, but I know the results will be worth it!

    Day two I was in a lounge chair and when I went to sit up I almost couldn't because my abs were so sore. It actually took me a couple of tries. Keep going, it gets better until you start the new workout then I find new muscles getting sore. Worth it though, I am not loosing much weight but definatley toning. I need to go buy smaller clothes.
  • Thank you. Day 3 today - could only do one cardio, but walked a bit today as well. Not as sore as I was yesterday - but still unable to get out of the sofa in a ladylike fashion!!

    You will look back on this in 90 days and laugh at yourself - I PROMISE YOU!!! I was sore too and you just push thru and you will be truly amazed at how strong you will get in such a short amount of time!

    Stay strong! I hated JM by the 3rd day of the Kickstart week, but I pushed through. And you know what? I FELT AMAZING!!!!!! And you will too!! Keep pushing! I'm on my first week of Workouts 3&4, and feel a whole new challenge. It's supposed to be hard. That way we know it is working!
  • Thank you. During this kickstart week I lost 4.8lbs - very pleased!! I am starting to like the weights workout, but still hate cardio!!
