pre planning

How many of you pre plan? Im giving it a whirl today. I am going to a friends for a float day in her pool w/ several women and I have bought some snacks. I also brought a 6 pack of coke zero hoping to leave the beer alone. If I could trust myself to have one or two I would but I just get in carefree weekend mode and before I know it I have had more that I could count. I hope this goes well and at least Im giving myself the chance to succeed. Any one else do simular things?

I do... when I know I have plans in the evening, I wil eat extra light throughout the day to save room for indulgence in the evening.

I do especially if I know what's going on. I even have turkey burgers, turkey meatballs, and turkey taco meat frozen in my freezer for those days I don't want to cook, or my family wants something I'm not willing to eat. And tonight for example we're going out for Mexican Food, what I generally get is the Chicken Fajitias (and I tend to by pass the guac--think it's nasty, and the toritillas to keep down on calories) but I know it's still a little high calorie so I'm just eating light the today.

If I was going to a cookout I would bring my own salad and meat and diet drinks for sure! :) then I can relax and not stress what i will eat and drink!

I always cook more meat then I need for one meal so I have it ready in the fridge for the next day!!

always have boiled eggs in fridge ready for a quick snack or to make a meal of them!!

It does help not to come short handed and be in starve mode!!!

I bring my own food for sure. Sometimes people will roll their eyes at me, but I don't care. I would rather be prepared than just being miserable. Bringing snack cheese or nuts can help you out when someone else is eating the "forbidden"...lol
