Perfect timing!

I just found my DVD in my packing boxes. I finally got to the point in my house renovation that I dug out my DVDs this past weekend and have this one sitting on top of my table to put in the player this evening.

The only thing I don't like about these challenges is taking the before picture. :)

I've never done this or even heard about it before last week when I started seeing a lot of posts about folks participating. I'm excited you posted this challenge. I don't have the DVDs but I watched the video on YouTube this morning. Would you be able to post each day what we're suppose to do since you own the program?

    I'm Rily btw...Grand Rapids Michigan

Basically you do each level for 10 days each, you do take rest days. I started this last year but did not finish it after we had a death in the family. I got through level 1. After the first workout I was really sore, so I did day two then rested a day and did three more days. I will probably do the same this go around.

How do you log the exercises here? It seems like she's combining a lot of different exercises and cardio and strength together. I couldn't find Shred on the dropdown. That would have been too easy.

I log it is circuit training. Though my HRM finally came in so I may just log as 30DS and manually enter my calories burned according to HRM.

I started this workout DVD last week, made it to day 3 before getting an injury and being forced to quit. Had 2 complete rest days and then 2 days of lighter exercise to ease in. I have been released to start full workouts again so my plan is to restart thism routine completly and forgo the 3 previous days. Hopefully I will watch my form better and will prevent injury

This is basically what I have read about logging it, that is the one problem with it. And A big reason I really want an HRM, since many of the exercises are not always accurate in regards to calorie burn (which is a big reason why I think some have trouble losing weight on here, their calorie burns get over calculated so in return they overeat).

Well I don't want to purchase a HRM so I'm just going to try and estimate. I don't usually eat all my calories. I try and stay with my basic level and if I exercise a lot at least I know I have a nice margin.

How about measurements..what areas are we suppose to measure to keep track of our progress?

I measured my left arm and thigh, my waist and hips in addition to my weight.

Perfect timing for me too! I just started doing it again yesterday. I'm sore as hell, quads all tight, but looking forward to doing Day 2 tonight when I get off work!

I'm on day 12 and I have to say, the first week is the hardest. My muscles ached all the time and my husband had to do some serious motivational speaking to get me to continue. It's getting easier though. Not to say that it's EVER easy I just don't feel like I'm going to pass out anymore LOL!

I bumped up to level 2 on day 8 and am already itching for level 3. I must love punishment. Punishment that WORKS!
