The Terrible and Wonderful Reasons Why I Run

Are you familiar with the internet cartoonist, The Oatmeal? Did you know he's a runner?
Neither did I.
He just did an incredible piece on running...he gets it. Oh, does he get it. He gets being fat. He gets being lazy. He gets that running can be the best part of life. You seriously need to read this.
It is, however, the Oatmeal, so he occasionally crosses a line or two - in the best and funniest way.

That was great!
I don't do "tanning beds" not only because they are bad for you but because, for me, they feel like coffins made of fire. *shudder* They totally creep me out.
I totally run to seek that place. The place where my body is a machine and my mind is quiet and all of the worry and anxiety falls away and I just AM.0 -
