I plan to start this Saturday so the first two days I shall be at home, but what happens when Monday comes!?
Has anyone 'juiced' whilst at work, is it OK to make them the night before and take in airtight flasks?

I don't fast, just juice as a 'snack' I guess you could say. But yes, I often make juice in the evenings and put it in airtight containers for work the next day. I've never had a problem.0

I juice 7 days a week and have one for breakfast and one for lunch and then have a normal healthy dinner. My advice is buy either pint or quart sized canning jars with the lids. The proteins will not stick to the glass and you can safely store them in the fridge overnight. I make all my juices the night before. Another helpful hint is do not use plastic for your juices. The proteins can deteriorate the plastic and will leave your plastic cups smelling like whatever you used in it.0

I have two big metal flasks. I make 4 out of my 5 juices in the morning (normally 2 portions of two different ones), I find they go a bit funky if you make them the night before.
Then I stick a few ice cubes in the flasks and go to work with them, keeps them nice and fresh. Then I make a fresh juice again for dinner.
I actually do this at home now as well on weekends - saves me having to make juices 5 times a day!0 -
How long does it take you to make the 4 Juices Moguline?
I might make my breakfast and two day juices in the am and them then two evening juices when I get home at 5pm. I read elsewhere they 'go funky' if made the night previous.
Thanks all for the tips! I start the 7lbs in 7 days Jason Vale juice cleanse this Saturday so getting as prepped beforehand as possible so i don't lose motivation.
Any other advice greatly appreciated0 -
I've done the Jason Vale one just last week
I didn't stick to the juices 100% - I just chose my 3 favourites for the day so I'd only have to make 2 different ones in the morning.
It takes me about 10 minutes to make the juices in the morning, that includes cleaning the juicer afterwards so it's ready to go next time. My juicing action plan is this:
1. Get out some newspaper to put all the pulp and cuttings on
2. Get out all the ingredients I need for the juice, and wash/peel/cut as needed (I only peel the pineapples and citrus fruits), everything else goes in whole!
3. stick it in the juicer!
4. if applicable - blender time! (for the ones with avocado etc)
5. fill juice into flask
6. wrap up newspaper with pulp and stick it in the bin
7. run a hot tap and rinse all the juicer and blender parts that can be washed and put them back together
DONE and ready to go for next time
I properly wash my juicer parts with washing up liquids every two days - if you rinse hot straight after juicing then that's usually enough.
Hope this helps!0 -
Invaluable advice, many thanks! x0
