So I am totally confused! I have read all the sticky topics and watched the videos and have set my TDEE- cut to 1600 calories but I seem to be gaining weight! IS this just because I have been under calories for so long that now that i am eating more than normal my body is gaining. How long before I start seeing the scale go down?im soooooo frustrated i feel like no matter what i do i just can not seem to lose weight.
My height is: 62" or 5'2
Weight: 149.5
age: 31
workout consists of Monday turbokick, tuesday bootcamp. wednesday hip hop abs, thursday bootcamp, friday no workout, saturday or sunday gym
should this be the lightly active or moderately active

A key part of this is to eat at TDEE without cut for about 6-8 weeks or longer depending on how long you had do low calories eating. It is personal and only your body knows. So You want to eat at your TDEE until your body stabilizes then do the cut.0

^^^^ Yeah that is EXACTLY what she told meI just got started, Day 6 (I think, losing count) and I have not gained......yet. Slow and steady wins the race.....hang in there. Get to your TDEE, workout, drink your water and just relax for a few weeks, forget about losing, forget about the "Gotta get it off", just chill with some good food choices and eat.....:) Then cut

Hi there, you are at least moderately active and could possibly be very active with those workouts and if you move around a lot during the day.
If you have been low caling for a while, it would be good to do a metabolic reset for 8-12wks. Yes you may gain a little, but if you lift weights while doing it, you will gain some good muscle to help burn off the fat when you go back to cut.0
