Just wondering....

if since starting JUDDD, anyone else has just fallen into a pattern of eating only when they are hungry? I was staying between 500-800 calories on my low days, and 1500-1800 or so on my high days. I have been following for about a month and have lost 8 pounds. Over the last two weeks or so, I find that sometimes I eat low two days in a row. Then I will eat big for maybe a day or so, and then back to low. Essentially I eat when I "feel" hungry. If I find I'm hungry, I eat a little, then wait. If I am still hungry I eat more. If not I stop.
Just wondering if anyone else has found this happening.....

No, although sometimes on weekend up days I'll notice about 5pm that I've forgotten to start eating.
So I might be on my way.
But normally I'm pretty predictable.0 -
Yes I've found that I can control my hunger alot better on JUDDD. I know what "real" hunger is and eat when I feel the need to.0

I am always tempted to have two low days in a row...NOT what you are supposed to do at all! My DD are usually a bit more of a challenge - having come off of a higher calorie day, I tend to be hungrier. And then my UD, I am not as hungry and feel almost giddy planning all those calories. It is certainly odd. I have eaten 365 calories today for breakfast and lunch and it feels like a lot. And I have 1300 to go! I find I am happiest on those few MD I do to time events, going out, etc.0

I find that it helps to plan my Up day the night before. That way after planning breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I know how many extra calories I have left that I can spread through out the day. Its easier that way then trying to eat everything at the end of the day and looking around my kitchen for food just so I can reach my calorie goal. You definitely do not want to eat too few calories on your up day. If you are not getting enough calories, you may have a tougher time trying to lose the weight. If I have calories left over after planning my day, I try to eat a morning snack as well as a afternoon snack. I think that may help my metabolism a bit as well.0

Yeah, that half a bottle of wine on UD's pretty much takes care of anything "extra." AND makes me very happy. Every other day...0

This is exactly what I mean. Do you have any idea how many calories you eat on low vs high days?0
