reflection on Silva vs Weidman

Initially I was disappointed in Anderson for the way he lost I felt he was taunting and not respecting his opponent. But after thinking about it for a few days....I feel like this has been his method for quite a while now, and it worked. When it works, he looks brilliant. And when it doesn't work, he got KTFO. I think the rematch is set for Dec. 28. I'll be interested to see how Anderson approaches it.

Yes he got caught, but i've seen him take harder punches from fighters like Dan Henderson, and didn't even budge, so i'm not convinced that he really got knocked out. But, I think Anderson is going to go into Beast Mode and take Weidman when they fight on December 28th.

That's what my Muay Thai instructors yell at me ALL DAY. And it's VERY good advice

he was complacent, he got caught. He will be bringing his A game no doubt but he has been in defense for so long, his fight style reflecting someone who is being chased and now he's the one doing the chasing.

I think we have all missed seeing him fight that hard and it will be nice to be remembered why he is ranked the best lb for lb fighter in history.

    And in the rematch?

    Silva got his leg broken.

Weidman is just good with that kick check. Silva is not invincible as much as he would like people to think he is.

That kind of injury? Weidman is playing for keeps. It's like being the guy who shot down the Red Baron.

Weidman is Silva's kryptonite, everybody has one. Silva did the same thing to Franklin a few years ago...

I hope he's Vitor's kryptonite too. I can't stand that roided out freak.

I think Machida has a good shot at wreaking havoc on this division!

The 185 division is finally getting exciting for once. Adding Machida to the mix was nice. Then guys like Vitor, Jacare, Bisping, Munoz, Boetch.
