Tai Cheng week 12. It's boring doing the sequences separately.

Did my 2nd Fit Test for Insanity; I improved on everything except Globe Jumps. I definitely noticed I felt much stronger than the first time I took the test. Not only that, but I ran on my treadmill afterwards, and I am noticing a significant improvement in my running ability and endurance. I'm happy!

    Switch Kicks: 100/137
    Power Jacks: 48/58
    Power Knees: 68/83
    Power Jumps: 36/42
    Globe Jumps: 10/10
    Suicide Jumps: 12/14
    Pushup Jacks: 23/30
    Low Plank Obliques: 45/59

I know how the soreness goes. My shoulder (rotator cuff) is still troubling me but not painful. It feels the worse in the morning and gets better during the day. Around the evening such as now its sore again. I am really looking forward for this to heal so I can continue my Insanity journey. I am going to test my shoulder out this Wednesday in a live P90X class at a local gym. My fingers are crossed that it goes well.
  • July 22 Power 90
I have less than 3 weeks to go and I am down 40 pounds and feeling fit. I am still debating on P90X or another round of Power 90. The P90X fitness test will be my final decision on which path I take. Power 90 has worked wonders for me losing 40 pounds in 9 weeks so far. Thanks again to Coach Ryan and everyone else with your support and motivation. Have an awesome week everyone.

7/23 Tony Horton 10 Minute Trainers. I have still been working out but been busy shuffling 2 jobs and I had a small 5 day vacation. I have been thinking of starting Turbofire soon.

Great job Alex on losing 40 pounds. Way to go. Awesome job to everyone else as well.

eating4me and alex: wow. great dedication and great results.

becky: sounds like a tough schedule. way to keep up with the workouts.

ryan: hang in there with the shoulder. maybe focus on rehab exercises for a while, possibly with a physical therapist. I know it is not your ideal right now but you may be better off long term. I speak from experience (completely seperated left shoulder[ball of the arm completely outside the shoulder stirrup] with fractutes and small chips of the top of the ball at the top of my left arm - sling, then unfreezing a frozen shoulder).

Thanks JonathanBB. I never in my life expected to get the results as fast. This has been an awesome journey. I look forward to my daily workout.
  • July 23rd Power 90. Another calorie crushing day. I had a great day eating and exercising. Breathing has become so much easier for me the past month. I feel like a new person. I am going shopping for a new outfit tomorrow. None of my summer clothes fit me anymore.
