How you feeling today!?!?!

It's an odd day for me.. So I am going to run this afternoon then workout tonight.
Thighs and calves are a bit sore but, going to push it =D

Replies

  • Can I just say Ouch! and have that cover it?

I'll be working out this afternoon. I hate the stairs at work.
  • I didn't want to get bored with the same routine, so I thought, "Why not try level 2 just for a change up?"

After doing level 2 today, I'm thinking, "WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING???"

But...I finished it. So I feel pretty good.

I got bored and bumped level 2 as well. It was . . .interesting.

Yeah I get bored around day 6 and 7... but, I know that workout 2 is... well.. a different game plan entirely.. almost a different mindset.. so i will enjoy the walk in the park while I can. =D

My quads are also sore; but it's a good sore, I guess.

For those who are moving up to Level 2--are you increasing your weights? Or are you keeping them the same because the moves are insane on Level 2...?

Keep up the good work, everyone!

I was traveling yesterday so took a rest day (which due to pain was much needed ha!) I will be doing Day 3 today, no way I will attempt level 2 just yet. That will happen after 10 days of level 1, or when the soreness goes away, or the boredom prevails!

OK day 3 is officially done, I think I definitely need to get some heavier weights for some of the moves!

Agreed with you on the weights. I may go with the 5 lb weights today and see if that feels better.

I have a lot of energy today! Sore but feeling good...

Day 3 completed. Shins are killing me and doing the side lunges with arm raises hurt my right knee something fierce! Hopefully today will be better. Going to spend more time stretching ahead of time because my hammies are KILLING me too!

I just turned 40 this year, could my slower recovery time be because of that? Or the shorter warm up period with the 30DS?

It's in my opinion that your age has nothing to do with it.
Everyone recoups differently. Some people have faster metabolisms, higher endurance, better immune systems etc etc.

I personally never stretch, No warm-ups for me. I play on facebook and watch Jillian warm-up LOL

I have a weak immune system so I counter it with an *kitten* load of supplements. So, even on days that i dont get all my nutrients, I know my supplements will help.

When i weighed nearly 300 lbs.. I had pressure on my joints.. it was so painful to move. But I lost some weight.. now I dont have that problem.

Currently...My boobs feel like they are ripping off when i run. So i fixed that today with a sports bra a toddler could fit in LOL (It really isnt that small but its technically too small for me)

Everyone is different. Just listen to your body.

Day 3 is done! I nearly died (yes I am being al little overdramatic, but it felt like it at the time) I decided to try to follow the advanced person, got through it all with only some modifications, due to reactivating an old hip injury. 27 days to go! :)
