New - Reset - Overate on weekend!

Hi everyone! It's my first post here, but I'm a couple weeks into a reset, and over the weekend I was out of town and over-indulged on Saturday and Sunday. I tracked pretty well on Saturday and was actually 650 over... eek. A couple drinks adds up fast. I didn't track as well on Sunday as I was at an amusement park, so my activity was up but I had a giant ice cream and I don't even want to know how many calories THAT was. Anyway, back on track and wondering, is it ok/good idea/bad idea to cut some from my maintenance calories for a couple days to make up for that? I was shooting for cutting 500 out for a few days, which would still put me over BMR. Maybe do that Monday, Wednesday, and Friday? I dunno... I'm new at this! Thanks!


ETA: I probably only went over by maybe 300 calories yesterday - so maybe 1000 calories total over for the weekend...

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. I often go over on weekends. I do try to eat a little lighter Mon/Tues. Our bodies aren't exacting machines and I little a little varience in calories can be a good thing.

    At least that's what I tell myself. :-)

    Just keep trucking along like nothing ever happened. That's what I did!! Lol

    Thanks ladies! I just cut it a little yesterday and will just listen to my body and play it by ear for the next few days. :)
