Hi there,

I'm new to this group, and have attempted the couch to 5k before, however only got to week 4. What I found hard was finding the time to do this run. I am currently working full time, and go to school 3-4 nights a week. I know, I know - you have to make the time to exercise.
My issue is that when I first started this WAY back when - I used my treadmill for it. I am VERY self-conscious of people seeing my butt fat flutter/jiggle and arms flutter/jiggle therefore I prefer to run indoors.
Any suggestions for running inside on the treadmill?? speed-wise??

Thanks!

Go slow. No. Slower than that. You'll be awesome.

I know it's hard. I have two toddlers and work full time as well. Once you get into a rhythm, though, running time will start to build itself into your day.

The slowest speed you can still run. That's about 4.5 for me.

Lynn, it's great that you're trying the program again. It takes determination but you can do it. Have trust in the program; it works.

Vardaeml gives good advice. Go slow and then go slower. That advice helped me many, many times and saw me through. I did my entire training on the treadmill. Pick a slow speed, if you feel at winded or your legs feel stressed, slow down. At times, you'll feel as if you could walk quicker and maybe you could but keep running. Don't worry about speed. It will happen in its own time. The program is about endurance and building up your stamina.

    Welcome to the group.
