New Here...Would Like Some More Friends For Support

Hello! I'm pretty new to MFP. I recently lost about 40 pounds and I am nervous about keeping it off. I lost it by eating low carb, high protein and fats and now I'm eating sensibly (or trying to). Anyhow, I'm 5'2 and I currently weigh about 115. I'm still trying to lose body fat (the machine at the gym says 21.3%, my scale says 19.9%) and gain lean muscle. I work out 5-6 days a week and I lift 4 times a week. I do about 30 minutes of cardio about 4-5 times a week, too. I have my calories set at 1300 and I eat back my exercise. I try to low-ball the exercise calories because I'm not entirely sure it's accurate. My husband says the HRMs are not entirely accurate either. It's all just an estimate. So my calories are set at 1300 with 40P/35C/25F. Does this sound right? MFP says for me to maintain I need 1420 calories BUT, like I said, I would still like to lose maybe 2% more in body fat. I don't care if it takes 6 months. My main concern is to not gain anything back. Any help would be so greatly appreciated and I would love some more friends for support, guidance, and accountability.     Hi LoriM! I'm also in maintenance, just started a couple months ago. Worry over gaining weight back got me logging in every day and using the food diary. I'm 5'3", 115 lbs. so we have that in common, too.

    Same here, My name is Nadine, I'm 45, 5'8'', 135 lbs maintaining between (135-140) is pretty new for me and I would not like to gain any weight so I will be glad to have new friends who are in the same boat...
