Well, about to shoot out the door with the kids, to meet a friend & her kids at the playground. Afterwards, me & mine will probably walk downtown for lunch or to meet DH after work. So some walking is in store, and possibly some tot-carrying depending if I go with the stroller or not. But I've promised my poor little boy that tomorrow we will not schedule anything. Yesterday, after all the running around we've been doing this week, he said, "Mom, when can we just, you know, stay home?" Poor thing. I've been doing this with him since he was a little tot, and back then he'd sometimes demand to just stay home and "veg out" for one morning a week.

Other good news is that DH told me we have to return the borrowed car and I told him I had to get weights, so he said we'll go get some before we return the car (his aunt needs it Saturday--so I should have some new weights by then!). Finally, I'll be able to start a weight program!

    HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Happy Thursday Team! From the information showing on the NewsFeed it looks like everyone is getting it in and logging great nutrition and exercise. Keep up the good work!

Week4/Day4 of TUFF Upper Body 2 completed in 40 mins. What made this session shorter after three weeks of doing it was shortening my rest periods between sets from 60 secs to 45 secs on average. I was able to increase load in 2 of the exercises this week, too. I am feeling that muscle fatigue right now…lets me know they received a great workout.
    DB sizes: 7.5, 13.75, 15, 16.25, 17.5

Marla - you had a nice long swim last evening. Enjoy your time off from work and guests.

Sherry - YAY!! You are getting weights...YAY!! C'mon and join the TUFF program.

    Have a thankful day!

I used a dead lift, clean & press combo with light weights to warm-up. I did UB2 TUFF WO & was pleased I was able to go up slightly in weight for the lateral raise.

After a rest; where I finished my workout drink, put away my equipment, & added notes to my workout logs; I went on to LB2 WO. I went up in weight for the dead lift but stayed on the floor rather than use a stool. I did the one legged calf raise with a larger weight. Once I finished this workout, I had my Greek yogurt/ fruit combo & then tidied up my equipment. It's then off to eat breakfast.

I'm glad you will be able to join us Sherry.

I realize I said that wrong, not off work I work 1-9 today and tomorrow, off from exercise I thought.

That was until I ran around house like chicken with head off cleaning for long time this morning, vacuuming, cleaning stove and all.

So did get work out after all.

The company is people from our travel club so strangers that stay at night and for breakfast and leave during the day. Its sort of a trade B & B thing for only $20 a night called Affordable Travel, it is for people over 50. Has saved us a ton of money and everyone is nice and lots of people in it in Canada.

They are staying two nights and since I work I will only see them at breakfast, husband gets to entertain!

Wow Marla - I can see such a club (Travel Club) being able to save tons of $$ because its usually the hotel stays that are the most expensive part of a trip. LOL...yep....vigorous cleaning around the house is a WO!

Donna, you had a great day of WOs too. Those lateral raises are something else. Good for you being able to increase the load today.

I'm literally a zombie as I type this. :ohwell: I worked a graveyard shift last night and then had to keep up with the kiddos when I got home and run to football camp, dance, and vacation bible school. So, if I had to guess I'd say I *maybe* got three hours of sleep in 30-45 mins increments. Talk about grumpy. The youngest skipped his nap also, so we had about the same temperament. Somehow, I managed to drag my wore out self into the garage and completed my SL5x5. I was at the peak of my DOMS from the last session, so it really helped to knock some of that out.

Sherry - I know I'm late responding, but that compliment you received the other day was FANTASTIC! Also, congrats on the new weights you'll be getting! :drinker:

Marla - Sounds like you probably get to meet some interesting people with the club. My house needs some cleaning exercise! :blushing:

Donna - Sounds like a good workout! I'm still just doing the compound movements. Not sure how I'd do figuring out something more personalized.

Pam - Killin' that TUFF program! WTG! I've been shortening my workout times also. I decided to actually "time" my one-minute rests instead of guesstimating. Let's just say I now know why I'm habitually late!
