I just joined, thankful to find this group!

I am post?? menopausal? Is there a "post menopause" as opposed to menopause? Anyway, I started on weight loss and was making progress, then I became ill and had a total hysterectomy and oopherectomy last year which threw me into full blown menopause. I am ready to start the weight loss program again. I would like to be at or near my goal weight by age 50. I have 80 lbs to lose and 18 months to lose it. I want to get my metabolism revved up so this additional issue (menopause) is not as big of an impediment. Thank you ladies in advance for any support and tips you may want to give.     Those are great goals - it's abot what I have to lose as well - Let's keep tabs on each other - I started to use this toolset a year or so ago but only got serious may / june timeframe - bad day today so looking for some success stories... they are inspiring! You go girl on your new journey!!
