Jjust pulled 2 pair of slacks from the depths of my closet. These slacks do not have a 'W' behind the size on the tag. Guess what?!? They fit!!!!!! I posted this last evening on my phone so some of you may have already seen this but I just had to share with all of my Over 50 Ladies.

Congratulations. Mine is similar to yours. I finally got into my size 6 blue jeans that have NO spandex in them. They are close to 40 years old so I don't wear them anymore, I just keep them around as an incentive. Also I took my body fat % last week and it was 20.6%. Athletes top out about 18%, so I am close.0

Attended a regional meeting out of town this past friday with some people that I had not seen since earlier in spring, Three different people commented that I looked like I had lost weight and looked great! they asked what I was doing.... a nice feeling!0

Congratulations, that's fantastic! I don't have any smaller sizes, have been this way too long. But I recently had to take all my slacks to the tailor for the second time since I started here.0

Reaching in the dusty back of the closet, there lives a graveyard of garb in sizes I never thought I would ever see again. Recently, I was reaching and hit the very last item, a pretty white blouse I bought in thinner times and it was snug even then. Too pretty in its simple style to abandon, the only thing beyond it was the closet wall.
Gathering up every brave atom I possess, I slipped it off the hanger and slipped it over my shoulders ... buttoning, buttoning, buttoning. Each one felt like an accomplishment. When I got near the top, I realized it was too big, not in that comfy roomy way, but at least two sizes too big.
Back to the closet it went, but this time with a smile and a nod instead of guilt, self-loathing and excuses. Has the war been won? Perhaps not, but the victory was delicious.0 -
Buying a couple of tops that were size medium.
Quite a change from the xxl ones from last year!
Congratulations all on your successes.0
