I read comic books as a kid, mostly Archie, Little Devil, Casper and Richie Rich. Stopped for a long time. My daughter dragged me in with the new 52. Now I read the following:

Batgirl (I always wanted to be her)

Aquaman
Suicide Squad
Deadpool
Demon Knights
Doctor Who
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
GI Joe
I read many online, which drastically brings down the cost. If you purchase later a lot of them go down to $1.99 and they recently had a Deadpool sail at Comixology.
I always was a geek, just recently added comic books to the mix.
