Monthly Goals

Hello-- first time I've ever done a challenge so I thought I'd give it a try. What's everyone's goal for the month?

I want to lose at least 5 pounds and try to cook dinner for myself 5 out of the 7 days a week each week.

  • I would like to lose at least 12 lbs. And get to training for an OCR.
  • My goals are to lose 8lbs, and to lose 2 inches off the biggest part of my stomach. Ultimately, my goal is to be 160...so this will be a big head start to that!

    Hi:) My start weight on 1st August was 182.1 lbs, this month i would like to lose 10-15 lbs. Overall i need to lose more than 55lbs.

  • Hello! I'm one day late to the challenge but it will still be good motivation for me to track everyday!
    Today I weigh in at 133 pounds, and I'd like to lose at least 10 pounds of body fat and put on some muscle! It's gonna take more than a month, but let's see how far I can get! I'm tracking inches lost as well as weight, as the scales can lie!

  • My goal this month is to stay consistent with eating right, getting adquete, rest working out and running. I ready hope to lose anywhere from 9-15lbs. My final goals is to lose 105lbs by February 1st 2014. Good luck to everyone in this group and please feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Honestly I would be happy to make any progress but for the sake of the challenge I am setting a goal of 10 pounds. I tend not to try to reach anywhere just in the right direction. But goals might help.

    my monthly goals are to continue to log in everything i eat. stay under my calorie count. and to loose 11lbs.

    This is my first challenge too! I am also following the 3500 calorie burn a week this month. My name is Daria.
    My goal this month is to lose 5 pounds (or more). My ultimate goal is to lose 20 pounds by Christmas. :) I'd love to have a solid routine worked out by the end of this month considering I am returning to school in 2 weeks.. that will be the ultimate test to see if I can continue doing what I am doing.

    well, I'm 2 days late starting this challenge, but I'll go for it the rest of the month. My goal is to lose 5 pounds this month. I am just coming off a 10 pound weight gain after a pretty severe broken arm. So getting back into it after almost 3 months of not working out will be difficult. Any encouragement would be great!

  • I join the group today, but I actually started working yesterday
    I want to lose 2 kg by 2 September
    now i weight 57 kg

    I do 2 hours of brisk walking or 1 hour of jumping rope or climbing stairs and walking uphill.
    I did it yesterday and today, burning about 500 calories per day.

    introduce about 1200 kcal of food each day.

    Hey everyone, I graduated HS in June, and so far I have gained 4 lbs! I really want to get back to where I was, so my goal is to lose 5 lbs (one more for the hell of it)!

  • I spend a lot of time on those vidya games, I must admit. My goal this month is to lose 8lbs and adopt a toning routine. So far so good ;3 It's going to be lots of proteins and veggies for me this month ♥ LETS DO THIS GUYS!
  • My goal this month is to really hit it hard despite having to move from Colorado Springs, CO to Seattle, WA right in the middle of this month! I will have to figure out how to workout, even during the 4 day car trip across the states I am moving. I figure my hotels will have treadmills and my mom's house has one too(stopping at her place for a couple days on my way to WA). My first week on MFP was great, I lost 5 lbs, now, 2 more weeks of logging food, 1200 cals per day(500 cal deficit), running 3 times per week and nothing has changed on the scale. So "hit it harder" needs to be my new goal for August! Starting weight this month is 144.5 and I hope to loose 6lbs by September. This group will help me workout EVERYDAY!

    I want to get back up to a 10K and continue my training for a half marathon.
    Continue going to the gym 5 days a week.
    And try doing something active such as biking, swimming, or running on my off days.
    At least 3 minutes a day.

    Oh, & find a way to eat enough! I'm really struggling with that.

    Hey everyone! My goal for this month is to lose 10-15lbs. I plan to stay under my calorie goal each day and not eat back the calories that I have burned off. I plan to exercise everyday by either going to the gym, walking or doing my Zumba dvd's. Today was my first time ever running in years so I plan to start running at least 3x's a week. I'm wishing all of you great success with this month challenge =)

    Hi! I don't think I ever posted by goal....my goal for the month is really just to lose 5 lbs. July was a plateau for me, so I'd just be pretty excited to see the scale move. Good luck everyone!!!!
