I guess body wraps parties are the new thing for so-called "losing belly fat". Why do we keep falling for these quick fixes? I read up on body wraps, and yes, a person does lose some inches due to the "water being removed from around the belly" not fat. The article basically said once a person hydrates the inches are back.

I don’t knock anyone’s hustle to make some money; make your money!! How do you all feel about the body wrap parties?

One of my best friend's tried it and she liked it. I, however, have tried enough weight loss gimmicks that I realize that there is nothing better than diet and exercise.

its the same gimmick thats been used for years... remember those aluminum foil looking suits?? same concept...

now the wraps DO serve a purpose.... for example, I know someone who is in the military who is in GREAT shape but because he lifts weights, he doesnt meet the dumb size/weight/inches requirements.... the body wrap helped him appear to have lost inches for a day or 2, long enough to pass his tests and then a few days later he was back to normal & didnt care...

True, the wraps give temporary inch loss with the reduction of water weight ... much like sauna suits. Its temporary and if used before an event or trip to the beach can be helpful but its an expensive waste - you can achieve the same temporary result by popping a Diurex water pill.
