    Thank you, everyone, for your commitment to this challenge! The friendly competition continued this week :) Two weeks ago, Team A had lost a greater percentage of weight than Team B, but last week Team B swooped in and stole the lead. This week Team A is back! Only 5 weeks left! I wonder which team will have lost more in the end...

I know that doesn't sound positive, but it does mean we have plenty of room for great losses this week!! Good luck to everyone, and congrats to 2muchchocncrisps for dominating last week!

    Hi everyone!

    I am back from 3 weeks vacation, and had such a good time. I went trekking on the Kungsleden ("King's Path") in Northern Sweden. The landscape is just awesome, the weather was okay - many clouds but only few short rainshowers in the first week, ideal for hiking, and sunshine for the second week, but then it was almost too hot for hiking... Nevertheless, surely better than rain all the time!

    I had hoped that I would lose some weight, since I was hiking all the time with the heavy backpack, but I didn't - too much unhealthy food... But if you have to carry all your food for 2 weeks, you pack according to the weight of the food and not your own... So I can't see cereal and milk powder anymore, and I sure enjoyed my first meal which was not prepacked noodles, rice or couscous. I think I will go mainly for salads and fruits in the next week :laugh:

    I think I lost some inches, there is a jeans which fits much better now, so I have to take measures tomorrow morning :-)

    How have you been doing? How is the challenge? I will join in the following week once again! :smile:

    I am so sorry for the delay! It seems that I don't have time this week to come up with new challenges, so let's repeat the challenges from last week. I know that is not the ideal situation, but I'm just too busy at the moment. I hope all is well with everyone!

    We have another heat wave here and it has about 30 °C (about 86 F) in my apartment - I don't feel very motivated to do some planks or burpees right now... maybe tomorrow morning when it is cooler outside and I can open the balcony doors.
    For Thursday they forecast that we will have 40 °C for the first time ever in Austria (that's about 104 °F)... Work looks really good this week, because we are lucky and have air condition in our office building.

    Wow! 40 degrees sounds very uncomfortable and not at all helpful to exercise in! Air conditioned office does seem an attractive alternative.

    I am glad to have a repeat of the challenges- I need to try harder with some, although the Burpees are not going to happen as the foot is still not right and liable to further damage. Should manage the exercise and miles targets and shall be trying to do over the minute planks starting tonight to catch up.

    Looking at the spreadsheet there are some good losses posted this week although many people have yet to fill in their
    Weights.

    Keep calm and carry on losing weight!

    We had one night of rain to finally cool things off but not before BC broke a few heat records. Most consecutive days without rain and highest temp for a whole month (July). We are back to the gruelling sunshine but I'm not complaining...love going to the beach after work or late night walks when the sun is setting - much better then our months of rain. I have been out hiking with the boys all week, finding new trails and then jumping into the river or ocean to cool off...it's been a great week. Oh I haven't lost any weight (actually put on some) but I have lost another 1.5 inches so I'm counting it as a win :tongue:

    looking forward to stand-up paddle boarding lessons on the weekend - too bad one of our challenges this week wasn't "try something new" :glasses:

    3 days exercise, 4.5 miles walked, 3 minutes of plank - not elegant or without shaking but done! 2nd post.
    Will do 30ds L1 again tonight as finally getting the hang of it and not taking breaks!!

    It is still hot here, so I just do some walking, mainly in the morning when it is still a little bit cooler. I leave the other things for when the heat is over (should be tomorrow or Saturday...)
    (And my planks won't be elegant, neither!)

    Major NSV this morning: since I thought that some trousers fit better now than before my vacation, I finally measured myself, and found that I lost 24 cm (about 9.4 inches) since the start of June!! :noway:
    I had to measure myself twice before I actually believed it. Biggest losses were in the hips, waist and upper thighs, so the hiking did pay off! :bigsmile:
    Now I am sitting at work with a big smile and it is going to be a great day despite the heat.

    Hello team!
    How is everybody doing this week?
    I'm on target for completing this weeks challenges except the Burpees ! Had X-ray to see if I have a stress fracture in my foot. Hopefully then I can get some treatment and resume doing some more cardio.

    Meanwhile I'm continuing to walk the dog and attempting most of the 30ds L1 Extra calories burned today from line dancing which was fun but left me with foot pain.
