Hi all!
So, I'm honestly having a debate about going out for a run right now. The weather is perfect, DH is home from work to keep the kids, I can go to the park like yesterday and there are other runners and it just works well and I'd be proud of myself afterwards. But, then there's the TOM "yucks" that I'm having right now that just wants to crawl into bed and shut the world out. So far TOM is winning this argument. grrrr. I just hope there'll be MANY more days like today, after my monthly yucks are gone. And at least I'm eating well (no TOM binging, thank goodness). We'll see. Meanwhile, DH tells me he has to go to work tomorrow too...and that he might go in for a little while Friday too. lol, I knew it! SOME vacation this is! I'm going to have to put my foot down!!
Well, HAPPY hump day all!0 -
LOL!! Love the graphic poster.
Guess what? A few of us posted "today's workouts" under tomorrow's thread (Aug 8th). Donna did it (telling on her like a kid) and I followed along....
Marla is the one that brought it to my attention just now.
Anywho, here is a brief copy/paste of my "today":
It was a cardio day so I decided to use this Polar FT4 HRM for the first time. I used it while doing an outdoor walk on our up and down and uneven grassy terrain. It was sunny and about 84 degrees with a good breeze.
Sherry, oh bummer about TOM getting in the way of you wanting to have a fantastic run for it today. Hmmm...good luck with talking with DH about his "non-vacation".0 -
Got my SL5x5 in this evening. It always feels good to finish dripping in sweat. Here was my workout:
WARM UP SQUATS:
1x5 45 lbs (empty bar)
1x5 70 lbs
SQUAT SET:
5x5 95 lbs
WARM UP BENCH PRESS OF:
1x5 45 lbs
1x5 65 lbs
BENCH PRESS SET:
5x5 85 lbs
BARBELL ROW SET:
5x5 85 lbs
HIP THRUSTS SET:
1X15 45 lbs
I'm going in to work a short shift tonight, mainly to give break relief to my co-workers. If I'm feeling up to it, I plan on running when I get home. I think I'm going to do my first 5K in two weeks. There's one about 35 minutes from my house with only a $25 registration fee and you get to run over a bridge into Louisiana and back into Texas, which I think would be neat.0 -
Nice saying Sherry. I think both are important. My DH seems to think my legs look great.0
