The best advice that I can give you is to familiarise yourself with the group info here. Read all the stickys and go to eatmore2weighless.com readread read & you can purchase a very cheap start up kit that will guide you through this. There is a lot to sort out and reading is a better way as you know your past history and any medical conditions you may have.

    Good luck

There is so much information available in the threads tacked at the top of this EM2WL Group Discussion --- I would suggest reading them and familiarizing yourself with the process.

Here are two great ones to start with:

    &

How you will start depends on your past dieting history. If you have been eating a VLCD, then a metabolism reset would be recommended. This is where you eat at TDEE for 8 - 12 weeks (or maybe longer) in order to get your metabolism revved back up and to remind it of where it *should* be. After your weight has stabilized and you feel comfortable, *then* you begin a moderate 10 - 15% cut from TDEE.

If you read that first thread, there are links there to help you "run your numbers" and figure out what your calorie goals are and what to expect through the process. Once you get some of those specifics, come back here and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have :-)
