Neurapathy Sufferers...

My biggest clue prior to my diagnosis was this irritating tingling, numbness and pain in my feet. I was diagnosed on April 4, 2013...My sugars are pretty much under control....my A1C in June was 6.8. My question is this....will the tingling, numbness and pain EVER go away? I HATE my feet!!!

I don't think it will ever fully go away since it is from damage to the nerves. I still get the tingles if my sugars go too high for any length of time, but I have found quercetin seems to help ease my symptoms. It takes time, don't get discouraged.

I do know people who's neuropathy symptoms have eased once their blood glucose was under tight control, but in their case under tight control meant normal numbers .... an A1c under 5.6. There's still time for you to reach that level
