Protein

Hi - can anyone give me some advise on protein amounts/sources

I have started heavy lifting

2x SL 5x5 and 1x crossfit per week. I have also started adding weight to the bar.

My problem is protein, I don't eat meat, I can just about stomach fish but I don't want to get into a habit of eating that to often. Where can I get my sources from?

I am currently drinking half a pint of semi skimmed milk a day which is fine. I can't really add anymore as I need to watch my calories.

As for amounts I currently aim for about 125g per day ( I am 5'2 weigh about 145llb)

    I have an awesome dessert I do once in awhile. It is 1 cup of FAGE 0% Greek Yogurt and a 1 scoop of Chocolate flavored Protein Powder. I found heaven when I discovered that. It has about 50g of protein depending on the protein powder you use. Some people need to add artificial sweetener and for those that don't do artificial sweeteners, 2 tsp of sugar goes a long ways for 30 calories.

    Pre-Made Protein Shakes (atkins are the one I use)
    Protein Bars (love the Great Value Chewy Protein)
    Greek yogurt (Dannon Light and Fit and Yoplait 100 calorie are lower in calories)
    Natures Valley Protein Granola
    Almond Butter
    Cottage Cheese
    String Cheese
    Unsalted Almonds

    For something sweet
    Peanut Butter and Co White Chocolate Wonder (white chocolate and peanut butter)
    Peanut Butter and Co Dark Chocolate Dreams (dark chocolate and peanut butter)
    Jif Whips Whipped Peanuter butter and chocolate (SOOO GOOD)
    The above mentioned protein bars

    The above are spot on, you can also eat beans ie, Kidney, Butter, Baked, Chickpeas, Lentils
