My job is part office- part field work. But even then, I'm mainly in a car. If I'm not focused, I could definitely see myself going crazy passing McDonald's, IHOP, or any other restaurant. A job like mine which is more sedentary than anything else can still be energy draining but I remind myself that I've just been making excuses in the past. In a city like New York, how could I not find time or activities to get the heart rate going (I just joined a 24-hour gym).

I would love to exercise first thing in the morning but I find myself pressing the snooze button (I'm going to keep trying though). I do exercise after work. I'm especially proud of the fact that when I come home from work I'm usually beat and even with the energy level pretty much at 0, I still push myself to the gym/ track. Once I get there, I've mentally amped myself to finish a solid workout.

If I don't watch out, lasagna will be my downfall. Now that its summer, all things barbecued is testing my will. Regarding all other foods, if I'm away from them long enough then my mind craves them. Luckily, I use my cheat day wisely and I've shown myself that I don't NEED the White Castle burgers or cookies.

    Your teammate, Eddy

I was working out before work then i started working out after. I think before I am more excited about it but I think after is when i have more time.

What are your trigger foods? I love potatoes. Any kind. Yummy.

I work as a chef! Being surrounded by 'naughty' foods all day is a bit torturous, but I rarely have time to eat while on shift. I'm getting better at making time for a healthy snack halfway through my shift though. I work shifts, so either 7.30am-3.30pm or 3pm-10pm which means I always have time for exercise either in the morning before work or in the afternoon.

What time of day do you exercise?
Whichever end of the day I'm not working! I prefer working out in the morning as I have more energy. After I come home from work I just want to curl up on the sofa! I get my cardio in every day by cycling to work and back though (which allows me a few more calories!)

    What are your trigger foods?
Family sized bags of 'crispy snacks' - you know, deep fried maize snacks like 'onion rings' (funyuns to you in the USA) 'frazzles' and spicy tomato puffs... also tortilla chips, doritos, pringles, anything like that... I now don't let myself walk down the crisp aisle in shops as I have no self control. I can't just have a small handful, I finish the whole bag and go back to buy more. I'm happy to say I haven't binged since I started using MFP at the beginning of August :)
