Introductions and motivation

For anyone interested, let's do introductions and share why we joined the challenge. :)

I'll start. I'm Melissa, I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I want to be, and I want to feel good again!

The "no junk" challenge is obviously a good idea to reduce quantity of calories and focus on quality. Also for me, groups with active participants help build momentum and a feeling of optimism. :) So that's why I'm here.

What about you?

I am Rachael, I am at least 27lb from where I want to be, but I am looking to improve my personal routine more than anything. I am here because I am going back to uni in September, and I want a decent routine by then, and less of a dependency on junk food when stressed!

Sounds like a great reason! I also want to decrease my dependence on junk food when stressed. I bet most of us here are looking to do that! ;)

I'm Jennifer and I'm a few pounds away from my second goal. I have over 100 lbs to lose, but I'm breaking it into smaller amounts so its not so overwhelming. The no junk challenge is a good one for me because I've been slacking a little bit and the weight has not been coming off the way it would be if I was not allowing myself chips and sweets.
  • Hey Everyone!

I have about 10% body fat that I want to get rid of. I don't want to lose it, because I definitely don't want to find it again once it's gone. I weigh myself, but find it fluctuates a lot so I go more by inches and bf%. My biggest and main focus is to change my lifestyle to a happy, healthy, Fit&Lean lean me. :flowerforyou:

I joined this challenge because I love to be pushed out of my comfort zone and love to compete (in a friendly way). Nothing better than working on a challenge and helping others do the same. I live with a junk-food-aholic and I am an emotional eater so this is a great challenge and I am so up for it.

Lets kick some 21 Days of No Junk Challenge butt! Yeah!

Hey all :) looks like good reasons to join! I am seeing that I too, start and stall. This makes me think I should re-start the 21 days each time I go off course and the challenge isn't complete until I make it 21 days straight. Just curious ... Does this sound more like torture than a good idea?? :)

It doesn't sound like torture. You can do it! I am in for sticking with it!
