day 5 and feeling sick

Anyone else not feeling so great today? I am exhausted and light headed. I know this is part of the program, but UGH. Also I don't know how much longer I can do green tea. Making me feel worse today. Hoping tomorrow is better.

Hi Jen,
Shame man, it is not nice to be sick. You must eat more calories, at least 1200 a day. Otherwise you are going to start feeling weak etc. And you know what, leave the green tea. I am not drinking it! I drink it in capsule form. There is no way I can drink green tea so much. I did buy myself a pack, but only had 2 cups since Monday. And don't do any heavy workouts. Keep it calm for the first 17 days.

Oh no that is not good...maybe try making some veggie soup with chicken broth you could even add a little ginger to it. Do you drink hot green tea or cold? I drink mine cold like iced tea and it's good...although I have always liked cold unsweetened iced tea so...
I sure hope you feel better soon. Just keep going, I know you can do it!!
BTW- I am not to day 5 yet, i felt kinda crappy D1, D2 super, D3 so-so- but it's right before lunch and my tummy is rumbling so i'm sure i will feel better after lunch!0 -
The green tea gets sickening to me....BUT I would ice it with truvia especially with my lunch at work.....was a treat!
I would have an afternoon snack or hard boiled egg or chicken so I woud get the extra calories. would range about 950 and started track and routinely added midday protein snack to feel better.0 -

Hi Jen, I only get one cup of green tea a day, and still losing so don't worry so much about that. Do you like fish. If you do try alternating fish with chicken so you get a different taste on the palate. I felt better when I ate more protein snacks when feeling hungry. Also try the green tea cold as already mentioned.
I actually feel a bit better today. And keep drinking plenty of water which you are doing.
Try and get 1200 calories or more in a day.

I am that way on cycle 1and after doing this diet the whole way through, I have realized cycle 2 is where I should have started because I am so active. I need those additional carbs every other day at least. I workout out hard and run a lot and have 5 kidos too so non stop is my life. If cycle one is really making you feel bad switch to 2 or up protein more in cycle 1 that might help too but this diet does work It will still work with cycle 2 switch too I actually lost more in that cycle0
