gonna be tough today (struggles on this diet)

today I'm going to make homemade banana bread and homemade bagels for the kids. The smell of baking bread really gets to me. Today will be a struggle!

What are your triggers that you struggle with?

    My trigger struggles are both sweet and savoury foods. chocolates, sweets, nuts, cakes, pastries, and the list goes on:grumble:

    My biggest struggle is Sunday. Every Sunday my kids and I go eat at my parents house. My dad is a phenominal cook, seriously, especially Mexican food. He works out of town during the week so he only gets to have good homemade dinners Saturday and Sunday so I don't wan't to ask him to cook differently. This past sunday I just did my best to make good choices, but I really miss beans!
    Oddly the things I am missing the most are relatively healthy things- beans (especially black beans), pineapple, corn tortillas (grilled not fried), corn (i'm from Nebraska...the cornhusker state, i mean c'mon!). All in all though i'm good, I haven't been perfect but I feel so much more in control of myself- I'm a work in progress but progress is good!

    Going out period! We have a wide group of friends which are all so much fun but going out always involves lots of eating and drinking. Im going to have to set up so limits for myself or there is no hope that I will ever get rid of this weight. Ive been riding the weekend rollercoaster for too many years now:drinker:

    Today it's a fat juicy cheeseburger with fries and onion rings...can't...stop...thinking...about...it! I'm not even hungry just sounds so yummy!
