Progressively load accessory lifts?

In the middle of a lift session and finishing bench day with lying tricep extensions. I progressively load them and do 5x8. Should I just pick a weight and do 5x10? I like to add weight. Same with my barbell curls on back day.

Thanks,

Tom

Most of the time I progressively load my sets until I can only get like 5 (or less) reps out ....
Sometimes I pyramid sets as well ....

I like the pyramid idea. Doing that now.

That felt awesome. And nothing beats throwing around weights to the majestic voice of Thomas Dolby "Good heavens, Miss Sakimoto, you're beautiful!"

    Break. Break.

And now hanging leg raises to Kenny Loggins... "Your ego is writing checks your body can't cash"

So, I tried this out today on my barbell curls (after dead lifts and rows). This is my "3" week of 5/3/1. For the barbell curls, instead of doing 5x10x55, I did 3 warmup sets, then 3x65, 3x70 and 3x75 and then followed that with BBB at 5x8x45. That felt great. I think this might be more effective than just 5x10 work only. I am going to do this next week for the "1" week for both tricep and bicep. Seems like a great way to increase tricep and bicep strength and promote hypertrophy.
