Hi everyone!
I have just joined the group and there is a fantastic amount of information on here that is going to prove to be very helpful.

As the title says, this is my third attempt at completing C25K - last 2 times I was so unfit I didn't make it past week 1, but think I also did too much too soon as I have just reading about here
I did week 1 day 2 this morning and I actually enjoyed it!! Never thought I would say that and I'm looking forward to day 3 on Thursday. Feeling really positive this time round. I can do it! Looking forward to being fit enough to sign up for my first 5k and join my work colleagues who ran one earlier this year.

Thanks for all the great info peeps

Hugs x

Welcome! I'm on my third attempt, too. First two times I never made it past week 2, but now I'm on week 5. Join either August thread or Daily thread for accountability if you like! It's all in the head and my only tip at this point is to run slower, that's how I've take myself to week 3, 4, and 5.

Thanks for the advice  That's just what I had read on another forum post so I am going to go steady this time and pace myself so that I can make it through!

It should have said "taken" above. Anyway, I'm using the podcast by Robert Ullrey and at least during the first weeks he reminds me to go slow enough that I could talk whilst running. I frequently check with myself whether I could speak without becoming breathless and it is not seldom that I've slowed down ever so slightly!
