Have any of you guys done acupuncture?

I just started and, while I'm doing it mostly for stress management, I'm curious if it has any effect on thyroid issues.

I have not, but am curious to see if anyone else has.

Tried looking it up and did find this link. http://www.yourbodycanheal.com/acupuncture-for-hypothyroid-conditions.html It does mention stress management, like you said, and it does seem to help other symptoms of hypothyroidism. As long as it makes you feel better, I'm all for it.
Have you noticed a difference since your session?

I have thought about it. Not sure how I feel about needles though. I would love to find out how it works

I have been doing acupuncture for about 18 years. It is important that you know what your problem is as treatment can hide symptoms. It works great for back pain and for some of my breathing problems. I would not use it for my thyroid, though my last acupuncturist wanted to stick needles in my neck--I passed on that one.

I have been having acupuncture for 7 years now for chronic pain. I have it in my face ,through out my hair, my neck, lip, arms, feet and I tell ya its the best thing I ever started . If I am under stress she treats it, treats my depression, treats my migraines, so much more besides my chronic pain. I would have it anywhere as there is no pain from them and they bring me great relief. I will surely be inquiring about this when I go in next week,
