Hey Yall!
I'm in my second week of Insanity and would love to hear about other peoples success with the program. Maybe include pics too if you have them! I'm so curious and, to be honest, need motivation.

Awesome! Congrats on getting started. I started Insanity in January. I had been doing Turbofire and lost 20lbs but wanted something that was going to push me more. I finished Insanity in March and lost about 12lbs and I don't remember how many inches. Then I did a 30 day hybrid schedule with Hip Hop Abs/Insanity. Then I started Insanity over and made it to Recovery Week and did half and then it was summer and I don't keep up with a strict workout schedule in the summer. I managed to not gain any weight, which is great, but lost definition and got squishy, lol. So I just started again and just finished Day 3/Week 1. Its still summer, so its going to be a challenge, but I'm going to do as much as possible and just stick with it day by day.
The first time around, I said "I'm doing Insanity, I can eat what I want!" And so my first month only showed about a 1lb loss. I also would eat right before bed. I read something in the Hip Hop Abs info that said if you don't lose any weight after a month of working out, your glucose levels might be too high from eating to close to bed time. So I stopped eating three hours before bed and I started on here to watch my calories. Not eating before bed helped my workouts, since I workout when I wake up. I didn't feel sluggish and didn't tire as quickly. Counting calories is crucial if you want to lose weight. I know MFP sets people at 1200, but I suggest following the guidelines in the Insanity meal plan to make sure you're getting enough to help your body recover. You'll have more energy and your body will be more efficient in becoming lean and strong. Also, invest in a heart rate monitor, if you haven't already. It helps knowing what you're burning.
Keep pushing play, keep logging in and you have all you need to succeed. Enjoy being an Insaniac, like the rest of us0 -
Also, don't be obsessed with the scale. Take your measurements and go by those. You might not see much on the scale, but you'll notice your clothes and rings getting looser. It was week 6 before my results became really apparent. One day my clothes mostly fit, the next day they wouldn't stay up. It was that fast. I was like "Where'd I go?" lol Just stick with it and you'll see!0
