Anyone intolerant to spaghetti?

Hi...
I'm in the process of figuring out food intolerances. It seems that I can have whole wheat noodles (by themselves) without much issue. I can have spaghetti sauce by itself - again not with much issue. Put the two together and I have issues all day long. Has anyone experienced this with spaghetti or anything else?

I have a friend who described something similar to me. I couldn't figure it out. You did say in both cases though "without much issue". That tells me there are minor issues. And if you eat two things that you are mildly allergic to, it can magnify the results exponentially. I am usually pretty okay with bananas, strawberries, and tropical fruit. But if I have an allergy to a pollen, or if I have been exposed to another food allergen, then I have a major oral allergy response. Same thing with chocolate. I am usually fine with small amounts of chocolate, but if I've been exposed to nuts, then whether there are nuts in the chocolate or not, my body will react like there is.0

I can't have spaghetti anymore. You probably have food intolerance(s) If I have some things by themselves it's not too bad, but put them together and it's a whole different story. I am intolerant to gluten and dairy and soy.
If I have something with a minuscule amount of dairy egg or soy, I am ok if it's by itself. But two small amounts of anything together and forget it.
Because I had undiagnosed food intolerances for so long, it finally resulted in multiple food intolerances to things such as tomatoes, potatoes, nuts, seeds, chocolate, bananas, strawberries, the list goes on and on. These food intolerances showed themselves by nasty, chronic hives which covered 90 percent of my body and facial swelling (angiodema).
I have sworn off ALL gluten and wheat, and most starches, except rice and potato sometimes. I still have tomatoes but will limit myself to about 4 or 5 small cherry tomatoes at a time. But a huge scoop of tomatoe sauce? NO WAY! I have just started figuring this out since March an have been dealing with this since December of 2012. Thankfully, with a lot of hard work, patience and prayer, my own researching, my naturopath and the health food store, I am finally 95% hive free for the last few weeks or so with a minor hiccup here and there but so much better than I was. I am so thankful.
If you haven't already, look up leaky gut syndrome. That is the only thing that helped me was taking Intestinew capsules (7 a day in the am on an empty stomach) and a digestive enzyme before eating all meals, and homeopathic remedy of Urticaria by Booin (stinging nettle tablets for when the hives were bad and I had swelling of the face, lips. I also take a daily dose of certrizine 10 mg in the am.
I have been off the digestive meds for the last few days cause I don't get paid till friday and hives are slightly coming back. After another three weeks of this regime, I am hoping to try to introduce some of the foods I cannot have not.
Or you simply could have trouble with just nightshades: peppers, tomatoes, potatoes. I am not sure what else is in that family.
Hope this helps you.0 -
Thank you for your response. It's comforting to hear from those in the same boat. I've been keeping a food journal of when I have reactions and that has helped immensely.0
