Barefoot?

Does anyone do these exercises in barefeet?
Just curious, because I usually do.... and I have trouble completeing the juming jacks + skipping segment - it's killer on my calfs.
Other than that... I find I have better balance in bare feet, and I don't really wanna wear my running shoes in my house

Its usually not reccomended that you do it without sneakers because of the potential strain it can put on your knees. It can cause really bad pain down the road0

what? :noway: No, it is really good for your feet, and helps your balance .... also, not hard on the knees (which is why I started going barefoot??)
I recommend it. Seriously.... you should look it up:flowerforyou:
I mean I wouldn't do it in a gym.... ew!
It's not like we're running, just 60 second intervals of cardio0 -
Sorry I didnt mean to give bad advice. But I know alot of ppl (including myself) that have done at home workout dvds and began to develop knee pain after going barefoot. I actually had to take a break working out because of it. Of course that's from my own experience and I'm not a trainer or doctor in no way, shape, or form. In my opinion its just better to be safe than sorry,0

I started today and went barefoot.
The way I see it: human beings have evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to become the best long distance runners on the planet and workout shoes as we know them were only invented in what, the last few decades? I don't work out barefoot outside because I'm not a fan of cutting my feet (or stepping in something gross), and it definitely doesn't fly in a gym for liability reasons (and like Geojerm says: ew!), but I see absolutely no reason why I shouldn't exercise barefoot in my own home.
If you want to go barefoot, why not ... Just don't blame me if you drop a dumbbell on your foot :P0 -
hooray for other people liking to workout barefooted!!! (I have a blog about this lol)
I just started the shred today and thought I'd better don my training shoes when I know I'd have found it easier in my bare feet saying I'm used to just being that way when I work out.
I'm glad I'm not alone and from now on I will be going without my trainers during those workouts :-D
I have to say when first time round with the shred all those months ago I had really sore ankles and my balance wasn't great either -several months on I can truly say bare feet is the way to go! my feet are strong and my balance terrific and no aches or pains - woohoo0 -
I do most of it barefoot except lunges...foot slides on carpet0
