Day 6 of 90

Focus T25 Day 6 Week 1

Today is rest day, from the working out that is lol I woke up excited because it's "staturday" .

I am down it weight from last "Staturday" but up in weight from Day 1 of the challenge

I gained 0.6lbs but I lost approx 2 3/8 inches ( so hard to be sure of measuring in the exact same spot, but I tried)

Have a good Saturday everyone!

That's a great loss for just one week. The weight is probably your body holding onto fluids because of the muscles repairing themselves and the body is adjusting. Keep doing what you're doing. The inches will fall off as well as the lbs. You're doing great!!

Happy Saturday everyone! I got in my 30 day shred and a Tae Bo workout today with my sister. We also went to the farmer's market and spent some time swimming and laying out in the pool. Overall, a good day. I'm happy to report that my first week of the 30 Day Shred is behind me and I am down 3.5 inches in the first week! Yay! I have been planning and preparing all day because I am meeting some friends for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. I am eating in moderation and having a margarita so my food throughout the day time has been minimal but full of nutrients (fresh juice, smoothie and lots of water!). Wish me luck!

Well Today is Day 6 Week 2 of My Turbo Fire. I did Core 20 and Stretch 40. It's amazing how much of a difference 1 week can have. Last week when I did these I was barely able to do any of it. I sure as heck tried but this week I could tell a huge difference. I was able to do more, longer, and i didn't have to modify the whole thing. I can definitely feel it in my abs already so I can only imagine how sore they will be tomorrow! As for the stretch class I really like that it helps with flexibility. There are some great stretches in it that make me push my issue with my sciatic nerve. So although I may not be able to do everything perfect, I can definitely feel it working. Excited to say after my workout tomorrow i'll be on week 3 of TurboFire! Can't wait to weigh in on Monday and see how I've done! :)

That is great ! Very happy to hear it. Isn't it amazing how you can notice the difference from week to week. It's give you such a sense of accomplishment. I look forward to your progress. I've done Turbo Fire and loved it. Chalene really keeps you going and just when you think you can't do anymore she has a way of pushing you through the workout!!
  • Happy Saturday all. I've been quite busy lately but I'm still putting in the exercise I need to in order to stay on this positive path. Today's exercise was elliptical, strength training, arc trainer and treadmill. I will need to do more strength training but will take my time since I am constantly moving things around.

Only managed to do 2 miles of a 5 mile WATP video which was about 25 minutes worth of exercising. 1 mile was 15 minutes using handweights and the 2nd mile was the fastest mile of the video. I'm just really tired....haven't gotten a whole lot of sleep the past couple of days. Plus...it was warm and humid in NJ today...and we were out most of the day, and the AC wasn't on in my house. So even though I turned the AC on before I started exercising, it was still kind of warm in the house.
Hopefully I'll get a longer period of exercise in tomorrow. Have a nice evening, all!

Saturday for me included an hour of belly dancing and a 30 minute swim. I want to do more... but it is still so hot. I'm planning to start back lifting at the gym once the kiddos go back to school next week.

I didn't have time for a traditional workout but I spent 3 hours shampooing every carpet in my house. That is a lot of work. I killed two birds with one stone. :)
