I'm Michelle, I'm 30, and a stay at home mom of 2 (plus two step-sons we have a few times a month). My boyfriend travels for work, so I feel more like a SINGLE mom a lot of the time! I'm lucky enough to have a gym membership with great child care, so I go M-F for an hour to an hour and a half every week!
I'm about half way to goal, so my loss is slowing! I'm retro-ing my numbers for august 1 starting weight.

Hi Nicola here, I'm 33 and a mom and wife. My son is 15 and I've been with my husband for 18 years. I have a gym membership be me and the husband only got twice maybe three times about 35-50 minutes a week.
I'm still early in my goal but I want to join and make new friends.

Hey I'm Ke'Shana & I am trying to tackle my struggle with weight loss and finish my dissertation. I get off track because so much goes on in my world, but I am focused and in a good space right now. I saw this group and thought it would worth a try to join. I am not too familiar with the show but have caught it once or twice.

I've a long ways to go, to reach my weight goal, figured breaking that number into smaller ones would be the best way to get there. I want to take a fair amount of time, sustained weight loss is my long range goal...approx. 2# per week, for now. Looking forward to meeting the challenge!! So much I want to be and do. I've also set a September walking goal for myself, not many miles to start with, but for my arthritic back, knees and out of shape body, it will be an accomplisment Gotta start somewhere, right?

I have weighed in and although I started back on MFP last Monday I consider that just a prelude to really starting today. I am also beginning a 6 week training to run a 5k. Hi my name is Chris and I am a busy working mom to an 18 year old son. I live in Canada and am finally trying to permanently lose the baby weight! I can be a little slow at times . I'm 5' 6" and have a pear shape; and am 46 year old female.
I love the show and love the idea of breaking it out into phases. Here is my goal plan:
Phase 1 (Aug 1 - October 31) 181 - 160 lbs (-21 lbs)
Phase 2 (Nov 1 - Jan. 31/14) 160 - 145 lbs (-15 lbs)
Phase 3 (Feb 1 - Apr. 30) 145 - 130 lbs (-15 lbs)
Phase 4 (May 1 - onward) Maintenance

I will adjust my goal weight as I get closer if I'm happy with my appearance and size; I'm currently focusing on weight training and realize that muscle takes up less space than weight. If I can get my BF% to a range I'm happy with (18-22%) but am still away from my goal weight, than I'll adjust my goal weight accordingly.
Oh, and if any women in the group is starting to notice the change coming on, that's one area that I could really use some support with, as I know it can have a significant impact on slowing down weight loss.

Hello everyone I'm Jen. About 5 years ago I lost 60 pounds. I went to the gym everyday and I started to get lazy in the last 6 months. I am giving myself a fresh start with a new gym. I have gained about 10 lbs back and I am not as firm as I was. So my goal is to get FIRM again. and to lose what I gained and a little more.
