Fresh Start Daily*****Tue 9/3****-Join in and post away.

Happy Tuesday! Good morning or afternoon, evening? We are all over the world here.

Thought I would try a new thread of the day that we are currently in. I find myself hopping all around wanting to see all the updates and I am personally going nuts. I plan on keeping my daily on my own, but wanted a good way to talk to all of us and support each other. I am afraid some of us who truly want support are going to get lost in all them many posts.

I remember when I was in WW and logged everyday there was a community posts daily and we would pop in and say hi to everyone in a thread. Then the next day whoever wanted to start the next day would just change the day and start a new topic. Then it was easy to add personal messages daily. I for example would start a word document and type that way then cut and paste and say hi. Sometimes we popped in all day. We made some very good friends this way.

I hope you all like this idea.

Hi, excited to put the Labor Day Holiday behind me and get moving to the gym this afternoon. I did great on the eating as we really did not do to much but hang around the house. I joined the YMCA this past weekend and now I am trying to decide what to do today, swim or gentle yoga. It is at the same time.
I am from the Midwest, Iowa. Where are you all from? I need to go get ready for work. I will be back this afternoon. Busy day ahead as it is Monday for me and we have billing and a lot of logs to reconcile before we tackle the billing.
Have a great day! Tree

Great idea Tree! Yes it does get confusing on all of these post and would love to have one place to go with thoughts.

I live in Enola, PA, which is in central PA. Across the river from our state capital Harrisburg. I am 49 years old, married to my best friend and have two grown boys. I have a two year old Labrador retriever, named Cutch, after a baseball player on the Pirate's team. My husband huge fan of the team!

I have been on mfp for a week now. Still figuring my way thru it. Love to have as much support that I can get and would also like to give back my support.

We are celebrating my oldest son's 26th birthday tonight at Carrabba's. I will need to stay on this healthy lifestyle and it will be hard at a place like that!!!!

    Well happy Tuesday everyone!!!!

I like the idea too! I went through the individual threads, but didn't post because I was trying to figure out what to say without sounding like I was posting a variation of the same thing on each thread!

I live in Washington state a ways south of Seattle with my husband and two cats. My sister has moved in with us for a while, so now I have two coaches who are helping me stay on track and get my rear out of bed to exercise in the mornings!

The Labor Day weekend was pretty good. I stayed under my calorie goal and drank lots of water. Sunday and yesterday I did days one and two of Insanity. Today should be day three, but unfortunately, I have to take a rest day because my calf muscles are so sore I can barely stand up or walk. Boo! Hopefully I'll be back at it tomorrow. It'll all work out because the calendar that came with the program has day three on a Wednesday anyway.

    Have a great day everyone!:flowerforyou:

So far... Day 2... Ha, I'm doing OK.

    Goals:
    1) Don't indulge EVERY time...break the "dessert after dinner" every evening habit. - Had ice cream yesterday BUT I stayed under my calories - AND No dessert at lunch or this evening!

    2) Exercise 5-6 days a week - "Werked" out - HARD yesterday and today.

    3) If I drink (on the weekends) - only 3 drinks TOPS!! - No drinks yet this week.

    4) 1 cheat meal on the weekend - if I'm really good during the week 2 cheat meals for the weekend. - I've already got 1 cheat meal planned for Friday evening - Hubby and I are going on a date/shopping/over night lil' trip.

Hi, back at the end of my day. I went to the YMCA and did Wave Power in the pool. Loved the class and the teacher. Trying to figure out tomorrow as I am getting my hair done in the evening. I may go in the afternoon.
The day was good and I have stuck to my food plan. Getting in the workout is huge for me and I have to keep it up.
-Jillnlynn- your photo with your dog is awesome. I have a Springer Spaniel and a Cocker Spaniel.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration for your son.
-Jcsmith- How many hours difference is the UK from US. I am Central time but you can pick the Eastern Time zone if that helps.
-Bookworm-I am going to start Body Pump at the gym I believe at a least once a week. Almost went tonight but it was my first day back at the YMCA and decided I did not want to be dying tomorrow at work.
I am sure you will be feeling a lot better in the AM.
-Tulip-wonder- Love your goals and it looks like you are staying on track! Excellent motivation going on.

I am pretty tired after the gym class and getting home. I had to make some fresh salsa when I got home so I am ready to just chill for a ahwile. Have a great night! I am going to play on Facebook for a bit and maybe watch some TV, Tree

My turn - I have been here since January was doing pretty well then just went sideways for a bit. Now working to get back on track. We're in the process of getting ready to move - just 15 miles West from where we are now but its still a move. Its playing havoc with my workout routine not to mention it's 100' out- ah - and to explain that. I live in the NW part of Los Angeles, CA . Native Californian. Married for 23 yrs (got it right the second time around), have 2 daughters, 22 and 19. My 19 yr old is in school in New Hampshire playing soccer and my 22 yr old is home this yr taking courses and will probably transfer to San Diego for Spring. We have 3 dogs - Chance and Rex as pictured are my boys. Tish is our 15 yr old Border Collie. We have 2 cats - did have 4 but had to put our 18 yr old down last December and recently lost one we think to a Coyote. My goals for September are as follows:
    1) Up the workout routine as much as possible. I want to walk/ride a minimum of 50 miles for the month. I wanted 75 but with the move I probably have to back that off.
    2) Get back to doing other workouts - Circuit training, zumba and spin.
    3) Stop the snacking at night.
    4) close the kitchen at 8pm
    5) keep the sodium down
    6) Try and stay away from the White flour

Tree - We used to belong to the YMCA (ironically where we are moving back to) and I love it. Im considering rejoining when we Jilnlynn - Love the dogs obviously -
Bookworm - I love the NW. Thought we were going to move up that way at one time but it didn't work out. I havent been up there in awhile and miss it. My daughter was in school in Oregon last year so we were able to make a couple of trips. Sounds like you have some great support around you to help. That's great.
Tulip - Great goals and your Friday night overnight sounds terrific!!! :-)
Jc - I'm on the West Coast of the US but I start pretty early in the AM and am around a lot so feel free to look me up. Actually that goes for everyone!!!

Looks like everyone is off to a great start.

    Ann
