Running-tracking apps

I'm sure this has already been covered somewhere and I'm still newish here, but I was wondering what is the consensus for the best tracking app that gets close enough for integration with MFP...
Currently I use the RunDouble app for C25K, download the gpx and upload it to Runtastic, which then syncs to MFP. I have noticed the calorie estimates from both apps are quite different.
I am sure there may be some more seasoned runners out there that have experimented with many apps, also does a HRM really make a difference as far as calorie burn estimation and does anyone use those here?
I am sorry if these questions seem dumb, but I'd like to get real serious about running and also I like gadgets.

I find DIgifit fairly accurate, I also use a fitbit one, which I like. Friends have the NIke + app & the little shoe pod thing and they seem to like that as well.0

I use Runtastic to track my runs but as you said the calorie estimation is way over, about 40%. I used my HRM to give me an average calorie burn per km (or mile whatever you prefer) and then just multiply that by the distance I have run to give me a better estimation of calorie burn. On a 10k run this could be as much as a 400 calorie difference. But I find Runtastic pretty accurate at measuring distance and I usually have no problem with GPS signal, and I like the fact it uploads direct to MFP, so I continue to use it. I just adjust my calories burned later when I am entering my food.0

Can anyone recommend a good app for my hubby's Blackberry Bold (9900)? The one he tried connected once to gps but seems to freeze while trying to connect now. Thanks!
I don't have a smart phone so I track my runs with nike+ on my ipod nano (6th gen - no shoe chip). Works like a charm.0 -
I had one on my husband's BlackBerry before I got my own smartphone, I think it was Endomondo, I never had any problems with it.0

I used rundouble and liked it a lot, but got a new phone and didn't want to pay for it again. So instead, I downloaded runkeeper and LOVE it. My only issue with it is that the C25K program is slightly different than on rundouble, bah. A little less intuitive. But you can set up the workouts on your own based off the website, easy peasy.
I've also heard good things about Nike+, but I don't use it.
I also input my calories based on those programs ... use a HRM or fitbit or even just a general cal based on bodybuilder.com, etc.0 -
i really like run double quite a bit...wish it connected to map, but it's not too much trouble to export a gpx0
