    CONFESSION!!!!

    I skipped my plank last night. I was so proud of myself for doing the 55 sec on Monday I just thought 'one night won't hurt'. But I don't want to lose my momentum on this! And my lower back is hurting. I really focus on keeping my abs tight when I'm doing the plank but must be missing something. I wonder if I should not push the time limit and go back to maybe 2 sets of 30 sec of GOOD planks to avoid injury?

    Advice please

    That sounds like a good plan to me. Planks work your entire core, not just your abs. Two sets at good form is ALWAYS better than bad form that can lead to injury. Just increase time at your own rate.

    I did not complete day 10. In fact, all I did (from this challenge) was the pushups, in sets (20, 15, 20, 15).

    I may try to make up the ab stuff today, but not sure my legs would be up for double lunges. I started running again yesterday and I'm a little sore.

    Working ab, lower body and upper body every day is new to me. I've always rotated to give my muscles a rest day. But I'm trying to stick with it.

    Yeah I had the same concern with this challenge - while I love the idea of it and seeing the progress of doing more push ups than I ever have in one day in my life.... I've never repeated the same workouts multiple times let alone a whole month. I'm up to try it tho!

    So what other than my abs should I be mentally focusing on while I'm in plank position?

    I think abs are the only thing that you need to focus on, but your back will naturally engage too. In fact, I think the reason we need to focus on abs is to lessen strain on the back. I think holding abs tight is less of a reflex.
